Special Places | 30 Places Around the World to Experience Escape and Reset My Mind

On this page, I introduce places around the world where I personally experienced a strong sense of escape from everyday life and was able to naturally reset my mind.
Whether a place is famous or widely known is not part of my criteria. What matters most to me is whether, when I actually stood there, I felt clearly separated from daily life.

On this site, I do not document every place I visit. I only write about locations that left a strong and lasting impression on me. These articles are not meant to be a record of visit history. With this in mind, I invite you to read through the articles, and if a place resonates with you, I hope you will visit it yourself one day.

In this ranking, I evaluate each place based on the following three criteria. The overall ranking is determined by the total number of stars.

■ Sense of Escape ★★★★★
How strongly I felt detached from everyday life while being there
■ Reset Value ★★★★★
Whether simply being in the place naturally helped me organize my thoughts and emotions
■ Low Public Recognition ★★★★★
How little the place is known as a typical tourist destination
